about ben chappell, creator & director
Ben is a writer, poet, and street magician who loves to blur the lines between poetry, rap, spoken word and social commentary. He believes in the power of words to reveal, heal, and unite us, and writes and performs on themes of addiction, social justice, self-reflection, and empathy.
Ben published his first book, A Guide to Crying in Public this year, and recently received a Feast Teen grant to help bring it to the stage. Boise Contemporary Theater will host a special preview of the production on December 9th at 7:00 pm.
